Novell® ZENworks® for Servers (ZfS) Remote Management enables you to control and manage remote NetWare® 4.2/5.0/5.1/6 and Windows* NT* 4/2000 servers from your computer. Using Remote Management, you can remotely diagnose and resolve problems that would otherwise require visits to client computers.
The ZfS 3 Remote Management setup consists of a workstation (called management console) use to manage one or more remote servers (called managed servers) as shown below.
The following sections provide you with instructions to assist you in installing ZfS 3 Remote Management to NetWare and Windows servers where ZfS has not previously been installed.
