RCONAG6


Purpose

Load at the server console to allow console access to the server by using RConsoleJ.


Syntax

[LOAD] RCONAG6 [[-E Epassword] | [ password]] [ TCP Port] [ SPX Port] [ENCRYPT]

Parameter Use to

(no parameter)

Load RCONAG6 without command line parameters. You will be prompted for a password, TCP port number, and SPXTM port number.

-E

Specify that an encrypted password will be used in the command line.

You can't use this parameter until you have loaded RCONAG6 using the ENCRYPT option and noted the encrypted value of the password on the console screen.

This parameter is used in the ldrconag6.ncf file (if you decide to create the file when using the ENCRYPT option).

Epassword

Specify the encrypted password you want administrators of the remote server to use. RCONAG6 requires either a password or an encrypted password.

You obtain this password by loading RCONAG6 using the ENCRYPT option and noting the encrypted password on the console screen.

password

Specify the password you want administrators of the remote server to use. RCONAG6 requires either a password or an encrypted password.

Note: The user ADMIN password doesn't allow remote access unless it is set as the password when you load RCONAG6.

TCP Port

Specify the TCP port number on which RCONAG6 will listen for RConsoleJ or a proxy server.

The default is 2034.

-1 disables TCP listening.

0 allows a dynamically assigned port to be used.

SPX Port

Specify the SPX port number on which RCONAG6 will listen for a proxy server.

The default is 16800.

-1 disables SPXTM listening.

0 allows a dynamically assigned port to be used.

ENCRYPT

Encrypt the password and create sys:system\ldrconag.ncf if desired.
