Novell Ships Complete High Performance Internet Security Management Suite
BorderManager Enterprise Edition 3 offers directory-based Firewall, VPN, Caching and Authentication Services PROVO, Utah — December 1, 1998 — Continuing to demonstrate momentum for its market leading directory services, Novell®, Inc. today announced the availability of the BorderManager™ Enterprise Edition 3, the complete Internet security management suite for NDS™ networks. Year 2000 ready, BorderManager Enterprise Edition 3 consists of directory- enabled firewall, Virtual Private Network (VPN), caching and authentication services which enable organizations to utilize the Internet and World Wide Web for secure communications and commerce. BorderManager Enterprise Edition 3 leverages Novell Directory Service® (NDS) to deliver secure single-sign on to network services as well as directory-based policy management which lowers the cost of security administration by up to 70 percent.
