Changing the Configuration Views and Settings

Added procedures for changing the default eDirectory™ context for logging in. Reordered the list of options and changed the names to match changes in the interface.

Monitoring Overall Server Health or the Health of a Specific Item

Available disk space on volume sys: was added to the list of key health indicators.

Changing Server Configuration Files

Added this section about accessing the files that you use to change the configuration of you server more quickly through the Configuration File Management links on the Reports/Log page.

Accessing and Managing Server Volumes and Partitions

Added to and reorganized information that you can see and do using the Volumes link.

Viewing Details of Directories or Files and Performing Specific Actions on Them

Added information about editing text files on local partitions and being able to save files with ANSI or UTF-8 encoding.

Monitoring Disk Space Usage

Added information about being able to sort the disk space usage information and setting or changing user space restrictions.

Running the Server Console Screens from the Dynamic Java Applet Pages

Added references to the links under the Dynamic Screen heading.

Viewing Connection Information

Updated connection page information to match new functionality provided by the Read & Writes column and the addition of the number of Licensed and Peak Licensed connection information.

Shutting Down, Resetting, or Restarting the Server

Clarified that the server shutdown, reset, and restart options force the server down and that some data could be lost if a file on a workstation is not saved to the server before the file is closed by the shutdown operation.

Viewing Storage and Network Adapter Information

Updated the LAN Adapter details functionality information.
