The following changes were made in this section:

Location Change

Installing ZENworks for Servers

Added the following note:

IMPORTANT:  DNS names are not required for installing ZfS in a NetWare-only environment. However, if there is even one Windows, Linux, or Solaris server in your network environment, DNS is required for installing ZfS.

Added new information to the Important note (item 2 of the note) concerning Desktop Application Distributions and tree-to-tree distributions.

Setting Up Role-Based Services for TED Administrators

In Step 1 corrected the URL to begin with https:// instead of just http://, and corrected the port number from 8080 to 2200.

Also added the alternative option to access http://server/ and select the Open iManager link.

Meeting Policy and Distribution Services Requirements for UNIX

Added a Red Hat 7.3 statement in the requirements table and the following footnote 1:

1 To enable a successful installation for Red Hat 7.3, after installing type the following at prompt/shell:

In -s /usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 /usr/lib/libstds++-libc6.1-1.so.2

This will create a symbolic link to the current stdlibc++.

Distributor

Added the following note in this section:

IMPORTANT:  Because Distributions belong exclusively to their Distributors, you will not be able to transfer its Distributions to another Distributor should you later change your mind about using your selected server as the Distributor. The Distributions would need to be re-created from scratch for another Distributor. For more information, see Deleting a Distributor Object and How Its Distributions Are Affected under TED Issues in Understanding Tiered Electronic Distribution in Tiered Electronic Distribution in the Administration guide.

Meeting Remote Management Requirements

Added the following bullet to the Managed Server row in the table:
