Community Use of Public Facilities
INTRODUCTION: Many city administrations offer the opportunity to rent public facilities, such as schools and libraries, for hosting community events. This generic form and workflow offer a simple but efficient way to process this kind of requests.

DESCRIPTION: Are you spending too much time scheduling your facilities? Do you hate writing down information when someone calls, and then personally making sure the request gets approved by all the right people? If this sounds familiar, you are going to love our new Community Use of Public Facilities workflow.
Our design is very basic, which makes it easy for anyone to adjust the workflow to their specific business needs. The workflow allows an applicant to submit a request to use a facility. That request is then passed to the Facilities Coordinator, who approves or denies it. If the request is approved, it moves to the City Scheduling Department to review. If everything looks good, then the request is scheduled. If there is a scheduling conflict, the request will be rejected. No matter whether it is rejected or accepted, the applicant is notified, who can then make changes and submit another application. This workflow is a dream come true for organizations that are struggling with scheduling issues.
