DESCRIPTION: This form is very simple, requiring only the attachment of the pricing proposal, accompanied by a detailed description of the purpose and benefits of the proposal. Upon submission, the proposal is sent to the initial review. The proposal can be sent back to the originator for modifications or sent on to the next level of review. This state is called the Committee Level Review. All members of a company's pricing committee (or equivalent group) are then required to review the proposal. If the proposal is rejected by this committee, it returns to the originator for modification. When it is approved, it is sent to the Executive Level Review. At this level the originator has a chance to work directly with the Executive Level reviewers to make any final adjustments to the proposal. When the proposal is approved at the Executive Level, notifications are sent to the appropriate departments. These departments are then responsible for putting the proposal into action.
