Filter Framework
Filter Framework is a development platform for building in-the-flow services that add value to BorderManager, iChain, and Volera Excelerator. Requests and replies moving through the BorderManager, iChain, or Excelerator cache are intercepted at four stages of processing.
The Filter Framework API offers you the opportunity to block or modify requests and data. Some examples of value-added operations include virus scanning, URL blocking, and object rating.
