Libraries for C (LibC) - formerly Novell Kernel Services (NKS) - consists of a new library and interfaces for implementing multithreaded, multiprocessor-aware applications, and other programs for NetWare. These libraries include a new standard C library (LIBC.NLM), which includes standard C interfaces as well as NKS and new Unicode interfaces (UniLib).
In general, LibC is multiprocessor (MP) enabled and CLib is MP safe. For a more complete description of multi-processing, see Multiprocessor Enabled/Safe in the documentation.
NetWare® evaluation software is available from the NetWare product site.

Libraries for C (LibC)
Libraries for C requires NetWare 5.1 with Support Pack 8 (or any later NetWare version and its most recent support pack).
This version of LibC also requires Apache server version 2.0.51 or later. To download this version, see Apache 2.0.x for NetWare Binaries. This new version of Apache is automatically installed with NetWare 6.5 SP3 and NetWare 5.1 SP8.
