To delete a trustee assignment

1. Browse to the file or folder that the trustee has rights to, or to the volume if the trustee has rights at the file system root.
2. Right-click the file, folder, or volume choose Properties Trustees.
3. In the list of trustees, select the trustee click Delete Trustee.
4. Click OK or Apply to save the change.

Deleting a trustee assignment does not prevent the trustee from effectively having rights through inheritance or security equivalence. For example, the trustee might have a rights assignment higher in the tree or might belong to a container or group that has explicit or inherited rights to the file or folder.
