Once SMG is installed it will need to be configured:
SMG will need to be connected to your domain Domain Management.
The interfaces to be scanned will need to be configured Interfaces Overview.
Scanning policies will need to be created so messages will be scanned Organization / Policy Management Overview.
The quarantine digest will need to be configured so users are alerted when items are not allowed to reach them Quarantine Digest.
For normal use of SMG, the sysadmin should be familiar with:

Using the Quarantine System Quarantine.
Using the Message Tracker Section 8.0, Message Tracker.
