Knowledge Base

INTRODUCTION: Teaming provides a strong solution as a knowledge repository. Teams, organizations, and individuals often record information and need to reference it later. This is a knowledge base entry intended for a wiki folder. We often get requests to demonstrate out-of-the-box forms (like wiki, or discussion) with a few minor changes. This is a little more particular but you'll get the picture.

DESCRIPTION: The form works well (best) in a wiki view. It was intended as a solution for persisting information about cases in a group. You can imagine an anti-piracy or other legal group needing to record like information on a number of cases. The reason this form is consumed best in a wiki is because of the references often made to other cases. These resources are powerful when recorded. They become even more powerful when they are already connected to relevant cases, entries, and links.

The workflow has two states. You can read the state descriptions for a perfect idea of their purpose. The basic idea is that by advancing entries in this two state workflow you can allow additional access to those names entered into the "Additional Access" list. No notifications are sent from this workflow. The emails would be generated when needed to whomever is intended.
