B.2 Notes Gateway Server Directory Structure
When you run the Notes Gateway, it accesses the Notes system as the Notes Gateway user you set up in Section 4.4, Registering the Notes Gateway As a Notes User. Therefore, the Notes Gateway accesses some Notes client files on the Notes Gateway server.
Lotus Notes client directory
B.2.1 lotus directory
The lotus directory on the Notes Gateway server is the root directory for the Lotus Notes client.
B.2.2 notes directory
The notes directory on the Notes Gateway server contains subdirectories and files pertaining to the Notes client.
notes.ini file
The notes.ini file on the Notes Gateway server is the Notes client initialization file. It receives GroupWise information from the updated notes.ini file on the Notes/Domino server so that the Notes client can access the Notes version of the GroupWise Address Book. See Section 4.2, Adding the GroupWise Address Book to Notes.
