You make applications available to users by including them in a Novell® ZENworks® OnDemand ServicesTM package. After an application has been included in a package and you've enabled the package for purchase, users can gain access to the application by requesting the package or having their cost center's budget holder assign the package to them.
An OnDemand Services package can consist of a single application or a suite of applications. For example, you could create a package that consists of Microsoft Word. Or, you could create a package that includes all the Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and so forth). Users who purchase a package gain access to all applications included in the package.
A package can include purchase and usage charges, or you can make the package available for free.
Refer to the following sections for information about packaging applications to make them available to users:
IMPORTANT: If a user purchases a package, but the package contents are not successfully delivered to the user, the user will still be charged for the purchase. Users will need to contact you to request that the purchase be removed.
