NetTrends 2.0 is multi-platform solution for long-term monitoring of Novell NetWare 4.x/5.x Windows NT/2000 as well as Linux servers.
NetTrends 2.0 is designed for monitoring corporate network resources and alerting about all emergency situations. It gathers information concerning functioning of network nodes like Windows NT/2000servers and workstations, Novell® NetWare® and Linux servers. Afterwards, it analyzes the data to verify the efficiency and the utilization level of the company network. AdRem will be demonstrating its server monitoring software in the Technology Lab of Novells BrainShare 2001 conference, hosted March 18-23 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
NetTrends generates reports concerning disk usage by particular users. Additionally, all kinds of scripts and programs may be executed, and their results will be automatically sent to NetTrends server (e.g. a report on DSREPAIR execution for NetWare servers).
NetTrends' modular architecture results in its scalability and flexibility. NetTrends, unlike other programs of this kind, does not increase network traffic, thus allowing for monitoring of even thousands of devices. NetTrends allows for generating SNMP alerts. It is a multi-platform solution, supporting Windows NT/2000, NetWare 4.x/5.x, and Linux. NetTrends can co-operate with a whole range of other network management products.
