Ahaus / PROVO, Utah — Sept. 12, 2001 — Tobit Software and Novell have signed a new partnership deal for Novell's worldwide activities in the field of small to medium sized businesses. Tobit Software will deliver a special version of its NetWare fax solution FaxWare, as a communication component of Novell's new Novell Small Business Suite 6.

The new Novell Small Business Suite 6, which will be distributed worldwide, contains a special FaxWare Version 6.6 CD. During the installation, FaxWare automatically determines the number of user licenses and will adapt itself to match the number of NetWare Users, up to a maximum of 50 users. Based on Novell's NetWare, they can take full benefit of the advantages of a company-wide, powerful fax solution. It allows them to, for example, send and receive faxes at any workstation, to easily organise their faxes in custom archive structures and to send extensive fax mailings.

Novell Small Business Suite 6 contains several Novell and third-party components. NetWare 6, GroupWise 6 (full version), ZENWorks for Desktops 3.2 (full version), BorderManager - Enterprise Edition 3.6 with Virtual Private Network (VPN) Services (full version), Simplified Install, Novell Easy Administration Tool (NEAT) and Novell Internet Connection Expert (NICE). The partner products consist of Network Associates' NetShield and VirusScan for Server and Desktop virus detection and recovery, FatPipe Internet modem pooling for a faster Internet connection and Tobit's FaxWare for powerful and flexible faxing from the user's desktop.

The Novell Small Business Suite 6 is a full-service bundle of high-performance, easy-to-use software solutions that instantly transforms the business into a fully networked powerhouse. The package will be shipped early November 2001, and was designed to simplify and secure the business of small to medium sized companies.
