MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Oct. 18, 2001 — VERITAS Software is the first storage software company to achieve Novell "Yes Tested and Approved" certification for the newly released NetWare 6 platform. VERITAS Backup Exec™ for Netware offers early adopters of the Netware 6 operating system the ability to back up and restore their local and remote NetWare servers. Having completed rigorous testing that ensures 100% compatibility and reliability with NetWare 6, version 8.5 of VERITAS Backup Exec for Netware continues to deliver first-to-market solutions that are fundamental to NetWare customers' data protection and recovery strategies.
